Carolyn Bailey

Graduate Student in Film and Visual Studies

Carolyn Bailey is an interdisciplinary artist and second-year PhD student in the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies. Her research is focused on the relation of digital technology and computation to film theory, contemporary visual culture, and architecture. Before arriving at Harvard, Carolyn earned an MA in Cultural Studies from McGill University and studied architectural design at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). She has also collaborated on several research-creation projects with the Moving Image Research Laboratory at McGill University and the SenseLab at Concordia University.
