Zachary Furste is a writer, curator, and personal computing enthusiast based in Berlin. He’s a PhD candidate in the department of Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University and a visiting scholar at Humboldt University’s Institute for Media Studies. His dissertation, Finding Media: Recordings from Elsewhere, 1936–1965, surveys experiments with found durational media—film and phonographs—in the US and Europe. Zachary has received First-Class Mail in six American states.
