Main Gallery (ground level): Mon-Sat: 10 am–11:00 pm, Sun 1:00-11:00 pm
Sert Gallery (third floor, at the top of the ramp): Tue-Sun: 1:00–5:00 pm
Administrative offices are open from Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Galleries are free and open to the public, as are all Carpenter Center events, unless otherwise noted.
Seating is often limited: arriving early is advised. The galleries and lecture hall are accessible.

The Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts (CCVA) houses the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies, the Sert Gallery on the third floor, the Main Gallery at ground level, and the Harvard Film Archive. The Carpenter Center lies east of the Harvard University campus and the Harvard Square Red Line T Stop. It is located between the Fogg Art Museum and the Harvard Faculty Club, one block north of Massachusetts Avenue between Broadway and Harvard Street, at 24 Quincy Street in Cambridge.
